Release of Seam Faces Verstion3.0.1 Final
The newly released version 3.0.1 Final of Sean Faces introduces significant enhancement to the JSF programming model, through integrating JSF with other modules of Seam Faces. What this update adds are the URL-rewriting support, reference documentation for View Configuration as well as Faces' Annotations replacement with Solder's AnnotationInspector. Another, successive Seam Faces 3.0.2 release is expected in May.

Oracle Statement of Open Office Discontinuation
A week ago Oracle announced their intention to discontinue their OpenOffice’s commercial version, with the further intention of contributing this project to the community. This decision arose many questions about the effect it would have on LibreOffice. The home of LibreOffice, the Document Foundation posted its statement, where they affirmed the business though without any whatsoever clear reference to the decision announced by Oracle. It simply stated that the development of LibreOffice and TDF community is going forward just as planned, and as usual new partners and members are welcome to join them.

Hibernate Search’s Version 3.4 Released
The Hibernate Search full-text search engine has been upgraded to its new, 3.4 version. The most significant change introduced to this release is that it was added faceting, which allows the user to split query results into numerous categories. Users can also customize the way of data retrieving as well as select one or more category results to improve the query. The newly released 3.4 version also includes Lucene’s vertion 3.1, as well as the Hibernate Search query engine being isolated from Hibernate Core. Instead, the engine is reused as part of the Query module in Infinispan 5.

Version 1.0 Release for Spring Data Graph
The newly released, refined version 1.0 for Spring Data Graph with Neo4J support offers a number of quite significant enhancements and changes. Spring Data Graph was developed as a project for bringing and incorporating Spring framework programming models to NoSQL databases. Now, in the 1.0 release removed are cyclic dependencies with repository interfaces being restructured. The programmers’ team has also improved the handling for detached entities of the relationship collection update. The dependency also was updated to Neo4j 1.3 final.
