Full Java 7 Support for ASM 4
Already available is the first release candidate for ASM4. ASM, a Java-based bytecode manipulation framework, offers functions and features similar to those of the Byte Code Engineering Library and SERP. The new release offers more support for Java 7, though introduces changes in the bytecode format (which means all other versions of ASM become unable to deal with ASM 4's new format). The support of invokedynamic has been renovated to support bootstrap method arguments and new encoding, while the API has also been generified in order to use varargs and generics.
